Yogyakarta — In support of the Directorate General of Taxes' program to enhance public awareness and compliance with taxation, the Tax Center of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta has once again launched its annual Tax Corner service. The program runs from March 3 to 14, 2025, located at the Accounting Meeting Room, Faculty of Economics and Business, UPNVYK.

Operating on weekdays from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, the Tax Corner provides hands-on assistance for taxpayers in completing and submitting their Annual Income Tax Returns (SPT) through the e-Filing system. Participants only need to bring supporting documents such as tax withholding slips, ID cards, Taxpayer Identification Numbers (NPWP), and EFIN codes or DJP Online passwords.

This initiative reflects the university’s tangible contribution to tax reform and improved tax literacy. Besides assisting with tax return submissions, the program also serves as an experiential learning platform for accounting students who are directly involved in providing taxpayer assistance. This event is an annual agenda designed not only to encourage formal compliance but also to promote sustainable tax education.
