Yogyakarta – To enhance students' understanding of real-world practices in public sector financial reporting and audit, the Accounting Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, held a Practitioner Lecture titled “Government Financial Reporting and Audit to Support GCG (Good Corporate Governance).”

The session featured Fatkhur Rokhman, S.E., M.M., Ak., CA, CIFE, CDA, RSA, the CEO of PT Amal Surya Consulting, as the keynote speaker. He delivered a comprehensive discussion on the importance of transparency and accountability in government financial management, emphasizing the strategic role of financial audits in achieving good governance.

The lecture was moderated by Sucahyo Heriningsih, S.E., M.Si., Ak., a lecturer at the Accounting Department of FEB UPNVY, who facilitated an interactive dialogue between the speaker and the participants.

Held at Room FEB AKT D1, the event was attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as faculty members. The participants actively engaged in the session, raising critical questions about public audit practices and their implementation challenges.

This event aims to provide students with practical insights that support their academic learning and prepare them for future careers, particularly in the fields of audit and public financial reporting.
